Job Summary
ECS are seeking the addition of a Payroll Administrator to join our fantastic Finance team on-site in Sutton-In-Ashfield. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced payroll administration environment working towards tight deadlines across the Finance function of the business.
Duties
- Administer the payroll function in relation to weekly and salaried employees (eg New Starters and Leavers)
- Collection and verification of hours worked and input into system
- HMRC and Statutory submissions
- Payroll Journals
- Calculation of Holiday Accrual on a monthly basis
- Reconciliation of Pension contributions
- Prepare and submission of P11D information
- Downloading and reconciliation of reports
- HR Administration
- Any other duties assigned in line with the scope and seniority of the role
Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role or relevant mechanical background is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal work and welding techniques is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment is required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork is highly valued.
