ECS showcasing Archimedes Screw Pump Capabilities At Telford Exhibition
Leading supplier of pumping solutions, ECS Engineering Services is preparing for a busy day on its stand at The Pump Centre Conference and Exhibition, Telford International Centre on Thursday 3rd May 2018.
The exhibition organisers are expecting upwards of 1000 visitors and judging by previous years’ experience many of them will be planning to spend time on ECS’s stand (number F61).
This year the main interest is expected to be looking at ways to improve long-term reliability of pump installations and related assets. This is driven in part by a general industry trend to increase installation life whilst simultaneously reducing the need for maintenance visits and emergency call-outs. However, there is added impetus as the water industry is getting ready for new Ofwat (the water industry’s regulation body) regulations which will come into force from 2020.
ECS Contracts Manager, Jamie Wesley, comments: “We are expecting discussions on new partnering arrangements between contractors, suppliers and operators. ECS can develop designs that are intelligent and innovative and perfectly matched to the needs of each individual site, whilst maintaining excellent support services in terms of asset management, servicing and maintenance scheduling’’
Over the last 12 months ECS has completed numerous large-scale pump installations and has also refurbished and upgraded a large number of pumping assets. “We never accept second best and don’t expect our clients to do so either,” says Jamie, “we want to continue to strengthen our position in the marketplace, we expect our clients to drive us hard so that we are always improving our standards.”
Based in Nottinghamshire, for the past 25 years ECS has been building its reputation as a supplier of engineering solutions, specialising in the turnkey supply of water, energy and environmental management installations. As a full electro-mechanical service provider, ECS can help to deliver almost any project for the UK water utilities, power companies and government agencies.
